 Periodic Training & Epic Courses

The Driver CPC for all LGV Drivers , which involves new tests, came into operation on 10^th September 2009. Drivers who at the time were LGV Licence holders, were automatically granted “Grandfather “ rights and will not be required to take the new test to enable them to continue driving vehicles commercially. However they do need to undertake a total 35 hours of “periodic training” between 10^th September 2009 and 9^th September 2014.

Only Centres and Courses approved for the purpose by the Joint approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT), can deliver the training and count as periodic training.

 Congestion Charging

The London Congestion Charging will be changing in various ways from 4^th January 2011, one option offering  Automated payment.
